Terrestrial Habitat Assessment, Priest Rapids Project, Grant County PUD, Washington

Riparian, wetland, and upland habitats within a mile of the project and occupying more than 100,000 acres were mapped, described, and evaluated for habitat condition. The results were integrated with parallel, site-intensive inventories for small mammals, birds, reptiles, and amphibians. DTA demonstrated limited adverse effects of the project compared to grazing, wildfire, and recreational effects.
